“(All I Wanna Do Is) Lay Around And Love On You” is a fun and funky song from Ray’s 1984 album Do I Ever Cross Your Mind. Easy and enjoyable, it’s marked by several overdubbed guitars of various descriptions, including a prominent one that sizzles with a distinctly country flavor. Ray’s keyboards, including an electric piano, are buried deep for most of the track but the music pops out of the speakers dynamically anyway.
